The good news for Wimbledon’s newest court game darling is that, come back women’s final day on Saturday, Dominika Cibulkova are slithering into AN all-white outfit.
But instead of striding on to the All European country Club’s celebrated Centre Court for an opportunity to elevate the Venus Rosewater Dish, the European country are walking down the aisle to stay a long-standing wedding date together with her betrothed Miso Navara in capital.
When the eighteenth seed surpassed her own poor grasscourt expectations to succeed in the Wimbledon quarter-finals, it gave the look of the bride might be a no-show for her own huge day.
However, Elena Vesnina’s 6-2 6-2 convince Cibulkova on weekday saved her the trouble of a unpunctual re-equip of her wedding plans.
“Tomorrow i'll realise that I had a good grasscourt season. i'll simply expect to the marriage, as a result of everything is prepared,” same Cibulkova, a challenger at the 2014 Australian Open.
“It was simply a good time period on behalf of me. If you’d told ME before the tournament i'd win (the Wimbledon preparation tournament in) Eastbourne and reach the quarter-finals of Wimbledon, I wouldn’t take you seriously.”
So can there be any mixed feelings on Saturday?
“No, no, no,” insisted Cibulkova, whose party trick involves being unsighted and distinctive balls from the four grand slams by merely sniffing them.
“If i'd be still here, i'd simply place confidence in court game. What I do, I do hundred p.c. i'll unite hundred p.c, not brooding about court game.”
And that exotic destination can she be heading for when the ceremony?
“No honeymoon. we have a tendency to don’t have time for that.”
